Multi-Sensory Environments

Multi sensory rooms aren’t a single fixed solution. They are different ways of working with sensory experience, shaped by how much input, interaction, and structure is needed.

Some are stripped back and purposeful, calm, controlled environments that offer clear sensory support without distraction. Others are more layered and immersive, engaging multiple senses at once to create a deeper level of interaction.

The difference isn’t about value or importance, but intent, what the space is there to do, and how far it needs to go in practice.
